How often does a wood fence need to be replaced?
Cedar/redwood and rail fences have a life expectancy of approximately fifteen years.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes! We offer free estimates within Humboldt County. Call today to see if you are within our scope of work.
Do you offer fence repairs?
Yes. If we installed your fence, we have a one-year warranty for any repairs that might occur. After one year we are still more than happy to help you with any of your repair needs. Didn't have your fence installed by us? No problem, call the office any time and see what we can do for you.
When can I have my fence installed?
We don't give out installation dates at the estimate because we plan one week at a time. We have planning meetings every Thursday to discuss the following week and any preparation that might go into it. Once your job is scheduled into a week, we'll let you know.
Can my fence be installed so there is no gap between the fence and the ground?
We can install your fence as closely to the ground as possible, but this will affect the look of your fence, preventing a smooth flowing fence line. We recommend having a balance between closeness to the ground and the overall look of the installation. After the fence is installed, you can fill any gaps with soil or stone.
Do you use pressure-treated wood?
All our wood fence posts and stringer boards are pressure-treated and certified for ground contact. If you'd prefer not to have pressure-treated wood, please specify to your estimator when you meet.
Do you install automatic gates?
Yes. We install automatic operators for your new or existing gates. Call us for an estimate. See our automatic gates page for options.
Does your company install brick pillars or concrete stem walls?
Unfortunately, we do not offer either of those services. We recommend calling a local contractor or landscaper for this type of work.
Do you have prefabricated gates in stock?
No. We currently custom-build every gate to fit your gatepost opening perfectly. Call today for a quote for a custom gate.
Do you sell fence parts?
We sell chain link fence and gate parts. Call us today to see if we have the materials you need.
Do you sell or rent temporary chain link fence panels?
Yes: we sell and rent chain link panels 12 ft wide by 6 ft tall, including the stands and clamps. Call us today for pricing and availability.
